As the hexagon craze hits our craft, I am reminded of a few years ago when yo-yos were all in vogue.....
So I thought I'd show you what I did with (just a few!!!) yo-yos....
This quilt hangs on the same wrought iron quilt stand as The Angels Story from last post. I think it will be a lovely quilt for a first grand-daughter....ooh....maybe I should put it in mothballs...haha...daughter is 14!!!!
Hope you're enjoying my little trips down Quilt Memory Lane with me...it will be a long journey, but we'll travel slowly....
Have a lovely weekend.......and Happy Mothers Day to all Mums on Sunday...

I enjoyed seeing your angels quilt and now this one- that would have been a lot of handpiecing to add all of those yoyos to your quilt- I remember a lot of designs used them a few years back- somehow everything comes back into vogue eventually as I remember making hexagons back in the 80's!
what goes around comes around...........lovely quilt............
Wow.....the yo yo's are a great touch...
Happy Mothes day to you to. I love the yo yo's just a few may be an understatement though. It's lovely.
I just found your blog from Peg's....You do beautiful work!!
And I love your cow on your profile picture....Did you stitch that up also?
Gorgeous quilt, love the way the yo-yo's frame the quilt, very effective!
